With the sheer number of resorts in the area, you can expect the Italian Riviera nightlife to be vibrant. The Ligurian area is overflowing of pubs and clubs which comes to life every night for the whole year. So whether you plan to visit in the summer or the spring, you can expect a lively night entertainment to greet you.
One of the top clubs in the Italian Riviera is the Mako, a Genovese establishment which attracts the younger crowd. It is one of the biggest discotheques in the Italian Riviera, and its location on top of a cliff adds to its appeal.
Residents as well as tourist enjoy the Senhor do Bonfim nightclub located along the water, beside the seaside promenade. Here, the rooms bounce with live music every night until the wee hours of the morning. The Portofino area is one of the most popular resort towns on the Italian Riviera. On summer days, the area is one of the best spots for yachting or just for wandering about. But what few people don’t know is that during the night, the area is transformed to become one of the most elegant after- hour’s sports. The area is a bit exclusive and fashion-obssessed but it boasts of the most popular night club in the Italian Riviera – the Covo di Nordest in Paraggi. Also the bars in the Piazzeta area are perfect for visitors who want to spend some time alone.
Another luxurious area on the Italian Riviera is San Remo. Here you will find luxury villas lined with palm trees. Its long expansive beaches serve as host to cabana filled beach clubs. San Remo is also the home of the Casino Municipal but residents are forbidden to play in the casino.
The port city of Genoa is considered as the cultural capital of Europe, thanks to the variety of theaters, museums and Europe’s largest aquarium. Just as the day, Genoa is also bustling with activity during the night with the steady influx of tourists who are visiting its restaurants, night clubs, museums and many other colorful activities happening in the area. Finally, Santa Margherita and Rapallo are famous for the different festivities and of course, the nighttime vibrancy provided by the numerous pubs and clubs in the area is something you shouldn’t miss!
